August Luncheon with Rep. Mark White

We had a great meeting this week, learning about Spreading Sunshine, American Heritage Girls, and our featured speaker, who shared insights on the state of education, with additional tidbits from State Representative Mark White. It was a great meeting!!!

Pam Proctor shared the differences between Free Enterprise vs Socialism/Marxism/Communism: Socialism=bad, Free Enterprise=good.

LaUna Brubaker shared legislative updates, and Judy Kilmer reminded everyone to donate books next month for our adopted school, Germanshire Elementary School.

Our President, Carrie Schween, recognized newly elected candidates and shared the passing of our member Bonnie Siler and her legacy of involvement in the TNFRW and our club.

Additionally, we announced our Music Bingo/Trivia fundraiser and collected t-shirt orders. BUSY and FUN!!
