Dr. Barbara Prescott currently serves as Chairman of the Transition Consolidation Planning Commission. She is a former three term member of the Memphis City School Board where she served twice as President and Vice President. She presently serves on the Board of Directors of Memphis Collegiate School, Girls, Inc. and New Leaders For New Schools. Dr. Prescott is also on the Board of Trustees of Christ United Methodist Church and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the University of Memphis College of Education. She works with school boards and school systems across the state in team building and strategic planning.

NOTE: At this meeting the proposed SCRWC 2012 budget will be presented to members for approval. Copies of the budget will also be available for all members. We will also distribute Christmas Jars to kick off our Caring for America Project for 2012.

There will NOT be a SCRWC General Meeting in the months of July or August. The next SCRWC General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13.

Please contact Artie Brown (754-6209) for a reservation. Cutoff for reservations are the Wednesday of each month before our meeting. Cost for buffet is $20.
